ACUPUNCTURE
Rowena Harris LIC.AC.MB ACC

Acupuncture is a long established form of treatment aimed at rebalancing the body’s natural energy using fine needles.  With over 10 years experience Rowena, originally from a nursing background has been in practice for over 10 years.  She has seen the benefits gained in the treatment of a wide range of conditions such as arthritis, back pain, hormonal disorders, morning sickness, stress, insomnia and migraine.

As well as the above, the use of acupuncture for cosmetic purposes such as facial revitilisation has become increasingly popular.  (Acupuncture improves muscle tone and is thought to boast collagen production.)
Recently Rowena has attended lectures on stroke rehabilitation and neuro-muscular taping used as an adjunct to acupuncture in pain relief..
